What your e-learning platform offers to conversion courses or ATPL Theory course ?

It is an advanced question bank provided by Horizon Aviation Academy only to its students, which consists of 13.500 questions covering all subjects of Oxford books. The minimum duration of the D.L. course is 3 months and can be commenced at any time during the year.

  1. The first step is to register on our e-distance learning program via our web site in which we will give you access. Detailed information will be given to you by our IT. In the question bank apart from the 13.500 questions, you will find 56 Progress tests and 14 Final tests, for 14 ATPL subjects. In addition, you will find simulation tests that simulate the HCAA exams on the exact number of questions and time scale for each subject. For example: in Air Law Progress test, you may find 44 questions in 60 min (as per HCCA exams).
  2. After 3 months of self-preparation you can come to the Olympus Aviation for full class revision course in all subjects, of 60 hrs in total. Most practically after each time you have completed the preparation of a subject you must send four Progress tests plus the final test via e-DL platform. The estimated total studying time including Progress Tests is 650 hrs.
  3. As soon as you finish your studies, you will be able to take exams for the first group of the subjects you have been prepared for. With two or three successful exam participation you could finish the ATPL theory exams of 14 subjects. ATPL exams sittings are taking place every month for 6 working days, at HCAA premises in Athens.
  4. After you have passed the EASA/ATPL theory exams you will follow the specific Flight Training course as described for CPL or ATPL license holders.
